Stuff makred “latest” are generally from testing ppa’s and not stable ppa’s, so they may not be as stable as the released versions. new disk bought from Frys and forced upgrade from Ubuntu 11.04 to 12.10.īelow is mostly for my own reference for the “next” machine. it was old, way too old to still be “dependable”.
